Mind Matters
‘Mind & Matters’ is a free service for adults to access when wanting to improve their mental well-being.
‘Mind & Matters’ is a conceptual mobile phone application and logo identity, looking at being a rounded service for those suffering/recovering from mental health problems. The application has a built in counselling service, and other resources to promote better mental health.
Current mental health telephone helplines are often aimed towards people in crisis, who are in need of immediate care. However, there is a gap in which many people fall through. Many people who experience low mood, anxiety and other mental health problems are not always in immediate danger or crisis. There are others who are recovering from mental illness, who still require support.
The concept was designed through thorough research into the lack of funding into mental health resources, and how a well rounded mobile phone application could benefit many people who are seeking help.
